Twila Goodwin is from Madill and has created several whimsical metal sculptures made from a variety of plumbing and car part pieces. This sculpture stands on the grass area at the entrance to the community center and historical museum, just north of RedLine Functional Fitness. It is located on the west side of Highway 70 (N. 1st Street), north of Overton Street.
The lady golfer has legs, arms and torso made from pipe. Her skirt is painted pink, as is her golfer's hat. She is holding a golf club over her right shoulder, and about to address the ball. A sign in front of the sculpture shows the artist's business "twilasart.com".
