The Prairies Roots Food Co-op grocery store, a community-owned grocery store that supports a sustainable food system, uses three stocks of wheat as it's logo. On the sidewalk on the south side of the building, near the front door, are three bicycle tenders that were made in the shape of stocks of wheat.
The kernels of the wheat are parallelogram shaped enclosed space cyclists can lock their bicycles to. Square steel tubing was used for the construction of the tenders, which were then painted yellow to match the co-op logo.
