I am told by locals this church building is now in private ownership. The population of Drake is now 46.

Unusual for this county, but I can not find an web historical information on this church

This church has two cemeteries. The cemetery directly behind the church, now officially referred to as Zoar Church Cemetery #2, was actually created in 1902.
West of Drake about a mile is Zoar Cemetery, now called #1, was created in 1858.
Both cemeteries are active, and, as I am told, depends on who your family was, and where they are buried which one you get to use.

Stone over the front door reads:

M.E. CHURCH
1901

This eclectic church has full Gothic windows, and doves, loved by the Germans, and a strange weathervane. All combined to make this a very interesting and unique church.
