The original mill, which stood on this site was built in 1797, and was replace by the current mill. The current mill and related buildings were built in 1867 and was in us until the late 1950’s or early 1960’s. Although the mill has under gone some recent renovations it is not open to the public. Today the mill is located in a quite park like setting and visitors can walk the ground or enjoy a quite picnic.
