A mediados do século XX pasou acoller o Goberno Civil da provincia da Coruña, convertido en 1997 en subdelegación do goberno."

"In 1761, the Royal Intendance of Rents was installed in A Coruña, in a rented building on Avenida de la Marina. Considering the place suitable, it was decided to buy the premises and the adjoining buildings.

The building was built as the seat of the Royal Customs in 1768, according to the design of Pedro Cermeño. It should have formed a set with the houses of Paredes, but the project was left unfinished.

In the middle of the 20th century, it became part of the Civil Government of the province of A Coruña, which in 1997 became a sub-delegation of the government."
