Alfred W. Martin is interred in Loco Cemetery, east of Loco. He was but twenty-one years old when he died. His Woodman of the World grave marker is one of several Martin grave markers in this part of the cemetery. The inscription is:

DIED
NOV. 5, 1911
There was an angel
band in Heaven
That was not quite
