"The Vial family is happy to bring our skill of baking and love of sharing wonderful breads and pastries to the U.S. all the way from our home in beautiful southern France. Owner and head pastry chef Marion Vial has been baking all over Europe with her father Jean-Bernard Vial. The opportunity came to open a bakery in the U.S. and here we are! Marion has been so happy to bring you favorites such as macarons, opera cake, eclairs, and mille feuille, as well as her favorite variations and modern takes on many french classics. Also joining us long time family friend Florent Tavardon to take the position of head baker and he is doing a great job with the breads and viennois.
Our bakers and pastry chefs start work before the sun rises each day while using traditional french technique and training to ensure that every batch is as fresh as possible before it gets to you. You can smell the warm scent of baking from all over the beautiful Barnyard in Carmel. We are excited to bring our sweet and savory treats and breads so that you can start off your morning with warm bread, buttery croissants and a cup of hot coffee.
