Pilot Point Little Free Library - Pilot Point, TX - Free Community Book Exchanges on Waymarking.com

This was the first Little Free Library in Pilot Point, created in December of 2019 as a Christmas present from the father of the teacher who lives here. Appropriately, it takes the form of a little red schoolhouse, standing upon an unimproved wooden post. There is white trim for the pitched roof, which has real shingles, as well as around the glass windows and doorway, whose doors are light brown. Note the bell tower at the top, which contains a real bell, and as of this posting, the flag of the United State is attached to the tower. There is also a clock above the Little Free Library charter plaque, but unfortunately, it's not working. The box is well-stocked, and as noted on its Facebook page (see below), it sees considerable use.
