The playground equipment in Frontier Park is the common plastic contstruction. The structures have a forest service fire lookout tower sort of theme.
There are two different sets of equipment, so smaller children can play without worrying about mixing with larger and faster moving kids.
Some features of the small children equipment are:
- Two straight slides
- One curved tube slide
- Lookouts for spying on parents
Some features of the general play equipment are:
- Three straight slides (Two flat and one wavy)
- One arch bridge
- One suspension bridge
- Three lookouts for spying on parents or looking for any "fires"
- Several climbing bars
- Chain cargo net
- Swings
- Communication tube system (Yell in one funnel and listen to the other
And for the parents whom watch the playing children.
- Restrooms!!!
- Nearby benches for sitting.
- Picnic benches. Some are close, but they could fill up quickly.
You deserve to get out and get some sun and fresh air... unless it is raining.
Actual hours are 6:00 to Sunset.
