This small, 6' tall Native story pole is located in the garden area behind the city owned Dumas Bay Retreat Center. The small park overlooks Dumas bay and is a great place to watch eagles and hawks fishing during low tide.

This small, 6' tall Native story pole is located in the garden area behind the city owned Dumas Bay Retreat Center. The small park overlooks Dumas bay and is a great place to watch eagles and hawks fishing during low tide.
I'm not sure what animals are featured on the pole, but you can see that the top one is eating a fish. While we were here we spotted an eagle high above the bay, watching for his chance for a fish of his own. Look in the gallery to see his photograph.
