Es: "Los hebreos ocuparon esta zona de la villa , en la que se ha conservado una fisonomía de viviendas populares de casas de una planta con paredes encaladas , vanos desorganizados y grandes chimeneas de ladrillo . Los judíos se dedicaban a todo tipo de actividades comerciales y artesanales , pero sobre todo a la compra - venta de tierras , paños y metales . Tuvieron su sinagoga en la actual Ermita de San Antonio ."
