POLE (MO1232) - Albany County, Wyoming - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

While the true summit of Pole Mountain sits to the southeast of the mark, the topographic highpoint upon which this benchmark has been set makes for an excellent hike with expansive views across this portion of southeast Wyoming. In the past, I have typically hiked up from the parking area located at N 41 13.623 W 105 23.079. There is no trail to the summits of any of these mountains, but route finding is not terribly difficult (thought the terrain is fairly steep in places). The mark is set in the top of a granite boulder.
