So we were rocketing along the US 212 heading north to Saskatchewan, when we saw a road sign that said "Miranda 3 miles ---->".
Which was a little odd since, Miranda was sitting in the backseat of our car at the time.
Nevertheless we had to go - and had a great time at this little community which lost its depot in the 1950s, but had preserved it as a reminder of the past.
Miranda SD is also an outstanding place to find Leopard frogs - at least in the summertime. Miranda Blaster is a frog enthusiast, and a TCU Horned Frog fan.
We spent more time than we had expected in the town of Miranda.
