This is the current incumbent in the revolving door for coffee shops in this suite, as both Roots Coffeehouse and the Edison Coffee Co. have been here previously. You'll have to go farther south to find Roots, while Edison is now in Flower Mound. It's a completely different coffee shop with different owners.
Sip Stir uses beans from Counter Culture Coffee (as do a few other local coffee shops), and you can enjoy it the traditional way, French-pressed, or cold-brewed. You also have the traditional hot drinks, as well as some signature and seasonal drinks: The butter beer latte is quite popular, and they're proud of the healing spice lattee. Those who aren't interested in coffee have a small selection of tea or a hot cocoa, while a menu up front has a small selection of sandwiches, toasts, and snacks.
The store wraps around in an L-layout, with quite a few comfy chairs, couches, benches, tables, and even some outdoor seating, both in front and back, where you can watch the city life that is the District of Highland Village. There are a few places where you can plug in your gadgets and take advantage of their free, secure wi-fi, and they also have a community printer. You'll find the wi-fi password on a sign at the counter, and just ask the baristas for help with the printer arrangements. Outlets are plentiful, but you may have to hunt for them. The wi-fi signal strength is lightning fast!
