We are facing one of the games that the cultural heritage of the town of Becerril de Campos offers to visitors to the municipality, and we can "walk" through the Sistema Sola

As? It has been reproduced to scale through its streets at a scale of 1:10,000,000,000. Although the planets have been represented throughout the locality, they remain tiny in an almost empty Solar System. If the Solar System were the size of the locality, the planets would just be small points, almost grains of sand. Said in a way that we understand it, if we move 1 meter through the town, we would be traveling 10 million kilometers over the solar system.

Efforts have been made that the milestones of the planets coincide with some of the most interesting resources in the town, so we can find them in the Plaza Mayor, near San Pedro Cultural, or near the Arco de la Entrada.

At each milestone there is a plate with information related to the planet, such as diameter, distance from the Sun or mass or orbital period.

This is the second one that we are up to, the planet Mercury.

Mercury is the planet in the solar system closest to the Sun and the smallest. It is part of the so-called inner planets and lacks natural satellites like Venus. Very little was known about its surface until the Mariner 10 planetary probe was sent out and observations were made with radar and radio telescopes.
