From the north end of the single-lane bridge over the Big Sandy River, drive for about 0.16 miles to the marker on the left (west) side of the road. The survey marker is located about 30 feet west of the centerline of the road and about 2 feet to the northeast of a T-post with a gold-painted top. It is set in the top of a round concrete post that rises about one inch above the surface of the ground.
