St Paul's Presbyterian congregation dates to about 1848.
The former St Paul's Presbyterian church was built in 1875, replacing a previous smaller structure. It served the local community until 1925 when it realigned with the newly-formed United Church of Canada. In 1930 the church amalgamated with the recently-closed Cold Springs Congregational Church. It was then known as the Cold Springs United Church. The church became part of the Cold Springs Pastoral Charge in 1989, along with Camborne and Plainville United Churches. The congregation is now referred to as St Paul's United Church.
