There are no trails to the top of Eagle Peak or even any nearby, but multiple walking routes have been taken to get there. Once there, you are in one of Great Basin National Park's ancient bristlecone pine groves. The high point is marked by a cairn. The benchmark is near this cairn stamped EAGLE 1946. Reference marks are copper nails with washers stamped USGS BM.

Should you be at Eagle Peak Camp looking up to the impressive cliffs above, know that should you arrive at the top of those cliffs, you will still have 600 feet to climb to the hidden peak behind them.
