Deze kleine zelfbedieningssluis om op de langeraarse plas te komen. en is alleen voor kleine bootjes geschikt, de sluis is alleen toegankelijk tussen zonsopkomst en zonsondergang
de sluis stamt uit 1898 en is in 1998 na renovatie weer in bedrijf gesteld
in vroeger tijden werd deze sluis gebruikt om goederen van en naar de veilingen ter transporteren
