The Department of National Defence (DND) disk is atop a concrete post marker. The marker is north of Hangar 1 on the former Camp Picton property now known as Base31. In 2025, the Hangar 1 building will become home to the museum at Base31. This benchmark is on the east side of the base's Royal Road.
I have not encountered many DND benchmarks. The Base31 property is so well preserved, I expect there are additional DND markers to document.
