"La chiesa della Santa Croce è la parrocchiale a Migliarino, frazione di Fiscaglia, in provincia di Ferrara. Appartiene al vicariato di San Cassiano dell'arcidiocesi di Ferrara-Comacchio e risale al XVI secolo.
La data di costruzione della chiesa di Migliarino intitolata alla Santa Croce riportata dalle fonti è il 1592. Sembra che tale culto per la Croce fosse già presente nella zona perché una piccola edicola costruita vicino ad un incrocio con questa immagine sacra era stata eretta già prima del 1410.
Poco prima della metà del XIX secolo fu oggetto di importanti lavori di restauro sulla struttura. Le quattro cappelle interne furono dipinte dal decoratore Vito Cavicchi nel XIX secolo. La facciata è stata completata ed arricchita nel 1938, quando vennero posti angoli laterali marmorei dall'aspetto di lesene a reggere la modanatura del tetto. Sopra il portale venne inserito un altorilievo di grandi dimensioni che riporta la scritta "O CRVX AVE SPES VNICA".
La giurisdizione ecclesiale della parrocchia, nel 1947, venne modificata, e dalla diocesi di Cervia entrò a far parte di quella di Comacchio.
Gli ultimi interventi di restauro conservativo si sono avuti nel 2015, e in questa occasione sono state rifatte le coperture e negli interni si è provveduto alla tinteggiatura ed alla sistemazione della cappella d'inverno." (

Die Kirche des Heiligen Kreuzes ist die Pfarrkirche in Migliarino, einem Ortsteil von Fiscaglia in der Provinz Ferrara. Es gehört zum Vikariat San Cassiano der Erzdiözese Ferrara-Comacchio und stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert.
Den Quellen zufolge wurde die Kirche von Migliarino, die dem Heiligen Kreuz geweiht ist, im Jahr 1592 erbaut. Es scheint, dass dieser Kreuzkult in der Gegend bereits vorherrschte, da in der Nähe einer Kreuzung eine kleine Ädikula mit diesem heiligen Bild errichtet worden war bereits vor 1410.
Kurz vor der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts war es Gegenstand wichtiger Restaurierungsarbeiten an der Struktur. Die vier Innenkapellen wurden im 19. Jahrhundert vom Dekorateur Vito Cavicchi bemalt. Die Fassade wurde 1938 fertiggestellt und bereichert, als seitliche Marmorecken in Form von Pilastern angebracht wurden, um die Dachleiste zu stützen. Über dem Portal wurde ein großes Hochrelief mit der Aufschrift „O CRVX AVE SPES VNICA“ eingefügt.
Die kirchliche Zuständigkeit der Pfarrei wurde 1947 geändert und aus der Diözese Cervia wurde sie Teil der Diözese Comacchio.
Die letzten konservativen Restaurierungsmaßnahmen fanden im Jahr 2015 statt. Bei dieser Gelegenheit wurden die Dächer erneuert, die Innenräume gestrichen und die Winterkapelle eingerichtet.

The Church of the Holy Cross is the parish church in Migliarino, a hamlet of Fiscaglia in the province of Ferrara. It belongs to the Vicariate of San Cassiano of the Archdiocese of Ferrara-Comacchio and dates back to the 16th century.
According to the sources, the Church of Migliarino, dedicated to the Holy Cross, was built in 1592. It seems that this cult of the cross was already prevalent in the area, since a small aedicule with this sacred image had been built near a crossroads already before 1410.
Just before the middle of the 19th century it was the subject of important restoration work on the structure. The four internal chapels were painted in the 19th century by the decorator Vito Cavicchi. The façade was completed in 1938 and enriched when lateral marble corners in the shape of pilasters were added to support the roof molding. Above the portal, a large high relief with the inscription "O CRVX AVE SPES VNICA" was inserted.
The ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the parish was changed in 1947 and from the diocese of Cervia it became part of the diocese of Comacchio.
The last conservative restoration work took place in 2015. On this occasion, the roofs were renewed, the interiors were painted and the winter chapel was furnished.
