This water tower is located one block south of the Pilot Point square. The Tank was erected in 1915 and is quite prominent. The tank has four truss work legs about 90 feet high. The oval section extends downward about 8 feet. The vertical section is about 25 feet high. It has a catwalk and rail around it's base. The words PILOT POINT BEARCATS are painted on the north side, while the south side has a painted picture of the bearcat mascot. The Flat conical roof has a ball at its apex. The total height is about 120 feet. To the best of our knowledge it is still in use today.
