This classic Usonian house is of Wright's rubblestone construction, Carolina style. The low profile from the "public" side almost makes it look like an Earth House and together with a heavy canopy of trees and foliage surrounding the perimeter of the property make this one of the most difficult I have ever visited to photograph.
I attempted to contact the current owner to arrange for a closer look, but my letter was returned as undeliverable. However, there is a covered car in the driveway so there must be someone who lives here.
