I discovered on Monday, October 20, 2008 that the Casa Grande Restaurant has gone out of business. I replaced this Waymark with another Waymark that offers a free birthday lunch.

A touch of old Mexico in one of Vancouver’s most elegant old (1905) houses awaits you in the heart of Uptown Village, a charming mixture of the old and the new. Enjoy a selection from Casa Grande’s extensive Vegetarian menu or enjoy one of their traditional real Mexican dishes. They have heart-healthy food and use no animal fat. The owner’s (George Trejo) three favorite foods are the Spinach Tamale, Chicken Fajitas and Halibut Fish Taquitos. Complete cocktail, beer & wine menu. Free Birthday Lunch or Dinner (Buy one get one free). Casa Grande is located at 2014 Main Street. You do not need to have lunch or dinner however this is the place to have REAL Mexican food.
