The Local Scoop is the best (and only) place to get ice cream in Arlington. They serve Blue Bunny hard ice cream dirt cheap!! I bought 3 junior cones, (which have 2 giant scoops of ice cream)for only $4.20. They have huge waffle cones as well. Its also a small diner serving burgers, sandwiches, and salads. You may chose to either dine or call in and carry out. My personal favorite ice cream there is the Mocha Almond Fudge while my kid's favorite is Birthday Cake. The Local Scoop is open year round.
