Lehman's, Port Royal Covered Bridge was built in 1888 by an unknown builder. (Sign on bridge states erected about 1858).
The bridge crosses Licking Creek and is 110 feet in length. The bridge Truss construction is Stringer type. This bridge is on private property, please aquire permission before entering property.
Bridge is also known by the following names; Port Royal, McCullock's and Mayer's Covered Bridge.
The bridge was orginally a Burr Truss constructed bridge, but the bridge was toppled in 1972 by Hurricane Agnes, and rebuilt as a Stringer Truss constructed type bridge.
