This little waterwheel has long been a favorite photographic subject of mine. In 2004 State Route 106 was relocated about 200 feet south to make way for the expansion of a nearby resort. As a result this beloved little structure was cut off from public view. The Hood Canal Improvement Club in Union, Washington took on the task of raising money and getting the waterwheel moved 300 feet upstream and back to public view beside the highway. The task was completed in the Spring of 2006.
