DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1973 (JRS) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 4.5 MILES SOUTH OF HOLLADAY, 3 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MURRAY AND 2 MILES NORTHEAST OF SANDY, ON A FLAT TOP RIDGE.

TO REACH THE STATION FROM STATE STREET AND 9400 SOUTH STREET, GO EAST ON 9400 SOUTH STREET FOR 0.2 MILE TO RAILROAD TRACKS. CONTINUE EAST ON 9400 SOUTH STREET FOR 1.7 MILES TO A CROSS STREET OF 1300 EAST STREET. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTH ON 1300 EAST STREET FOR 1.0 MILES TO A CROSS STREET OF 8600 SOUTH STREET. TURN RIGHT AND GO EAST ON 8600 SOUTH STREET FOR 0.45 MILE TO A FORK IN A CURVE IN THE STREET. TAKE THE LEFT FORK AND GO EAST ON THE DIRT ROAD FOR 0.15 MILE TO A CROSSROAD. CONTINUE EAST ON THE DIRT ROAD FOR 0.3 MILE TO ANOTHER CROSSROAD. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTH UPHILL AND THEN WEST ON THE DIRT ROAD FOR 0.35 MILE TO TWO GREEN WATER TANKS. CONTINUE WEST ACROSS COUNTRY FOR 0.15 MILE TO THE STATION.

THE STATION MARK IS A STANDARD DISK STAMPED WATER 1973, SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH ROUND CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND. THE UNDERGROUND MARK IS ABOUT 40 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE MARK.
