Dairy Creek golf course sits on the site of an old San Luis Obispo Dairy. This old cistern used to provide the head for the water used throughout the dairy.

This area was a working dairy until world war II. The government took over the dairy to expand Camp San Luis Obispo for training of troops. Now it is the location of the Dairy Creek golf course. This Cistern is visible from most of the back nine holes. Just a neat reminder of days gone by.
