A shady road alongside the Dornbirner Ache (river) will take you to the entrance to the Rappenlochschlucht. There, right opposite the Eastern Alp's largest gorge, is a 160-year-old building complex, telling a lot about the history of Dornbirn's textile industry and especially the very important location Gütle.
The most striking building of the complex is definitely the old factory with its 30-metre chimney From the entrance on the eastern side of the building, visitors can enter the world of Rolls-Royce museum, with its impressive background and exhibits.
In the "Restoration Show area" Rolls-Royces are restored and tested. The "Hall of fame" shows RR-cars from the era between the World Wars.
