Represented Prince Albert as an MP in 1953. Was elected Prime Minister in 1957. He served Prince Albert until his death in 1979. Appointed Canada's first female Cabinet minister and first Aboriginal senator. He also served as Canada's delegate to the United Nations. A summer picture can be found at the link.
