Actually, there were two James Hunters and this marker mixes the facts of both men into one persona. For that reason, this marker has been authorized to be removed. For further verification, note there is another J-56 in the NC Historical Highway Marker series, "Randall Jarrell," located on New Garden Road in Greensboro.
