Functional and modestly attractive, this is where you go to ride a passenger train in Omaha. It was constructed by Amtrak so they weren't saddled with the high cost of maintaining the original and older stations in the immediate vicinity. These Amtrak stations are known irreverently in the business as 'Am-shacks'.
