This bridge used to carry trains over Gap Creek. After the train tracks were removed, it was made into a walking/biking trail and covered. It is located in Cumberland Gap, TN.

In the 1800's the L & N railroad ran trains through here between Cumberland Gap and Harrogate. Some time in the 1900s, the tracks were pulled and this line was converted to walking and biking trails. This bridge and its sister bridge to the south were covered.
Current Condition of Bridge: Good
Description of Covered Bridge: The bottom half of the bridge is a standard railroad bridge that was converted into a walking and biking trail. At the time of the conversion, the wooden cover was added.
