This Ski hill is located about 20 mins easy drive from North Battleford and although it is certainly by no means the prime in Canadian Ski/Snowboarding sites, it is about as good as it is going to get here in
Saskatchewan. Not a big mountain by any means but rather it is more akin to skidding down the side of a valley. The longest run on this hill is approx 1100 metres so if you are experienced, then riding this resort will bore you, but if you are a learner then this is a really good place to find your feet/skis/board/whatever. Intermediate riders will find it amusing. There is a terrain park of sorts as well with a half pipe for the wannabees.
It is a relatively cheap place to come for the day as is to be expected and has facilities such as a chalet for food, drink etc. There are classes for the learners and a quad chair lift to take you to the top.
The below listed web site will tell you a little more about the hill as well as some of the other hills in Saskatchewan where snowboarding/skiing and falling over in the snow is available. The hill has night skiing beginning the first friday night of the new year and continues only each friday night from about 1830hrs till about 2130hrs. Also - it is closed each monday & tuesday throughout the season which is puzzling in view of the season length.
Ski & Snowboard rental is available in the Chalet and runs are groomed.
