What makes this waterfall interesting is the way it has carved through the stone here. Do yourself a favour and explore downstream as the Eramosa River has carved nice sweeping curves in the rockwalls. There is an old mill structure here as well.
There are 'social' trails on both sides of the river. You can get close to some parts of the falls from either side but you cannot get the entire falls in one view without getting (very) wet.
