In 1975, First Baptist of Port Charlotte held services in the building now recognized as the Auditorium. Through the years, the building has expanded tremendously with additions to hold the capacity demands of the growing congregation and missions.
The congregation has affiliations with Southern Baptist Convention, Florida Baptist Convention, Peace River Baptist Association, and Community Christian School.
