A plaque attahced to the trig point on top of the hill how it was a favorite spot of Sir Edward Grey, later Viscount Grey of Fallodon, Foreign Secretary, December 1905 - December 1916. In 1956 the land was presented to the National Trust as a memorial to him.
The climb to the top of the hill is very much dependent upon physical fitness. There is a path through the heather from the road to the south which can be muddy at times.
The address of property, including Postcode.: Unknown
The charges to visitors and opening hours.: Open access.
Parking on the road at the bottom of the hill.
