"Venice City on the Gulf" are the words that greet residents and visitors from the tall blue watertower that is just outside the historic district.
A seagull takes the place of the "V" in Venice and is feature flying in front of a glowing sun at sunset, one of the most beautiful times to walk the famous Venice Beaches.
Coordinates were taken 20' from the base of the watertower. Images were taken from the Venice Utilities Building parking lot and from the Venice Train Depot's upper level waiting deck.
