East Branch and West Branch were formally dedicated and opened to the public on January 1, 1913. Built with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie, the twin branches were renovated and restored in keeping with their historical architecture in 2003. Each sits in a park-like setting and serves their surrounding neighborhoods. Each has spacious meeting rooms, public access computers, and comfortable adult and youth areas.
