Over the course of Walt Disney's lifetime, he won a record 32 Academy Awards. To date, no individual filmmaker has come close to topping this mark. His first two wins came in 1932; one for the animated short "Flowers and Trees" and the other an honorary award for the creation of Mickey Mouse. He won several more for other animated shorts and also some for feature length films such as Fantasia. He was also presented an honorary award for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which included one full-sized award and seven miniature awards.
The display of 13 awards can be found in the Magic of Disney Animation attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. After watching a short film about how animation takes place, guests go through an interactive exhibit, then into a final room which contains the display. The topmost Academy Award is for the creation of Mickey Mouse. Also present is the award for Fantasia.
Because the display is inside Hollywood Studios, an admission fee is required. The price varies greatly depending on the number of days purchased and add-on's included.
