The view of the city park known as Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains Front range is fantastic from this small parking area. There are no designation signs that state it is a scenic overlook but from the amount of people that are always here it is unmistakably here for this reason.

The parking is lined and there is a wooden fence barrier surrounding part of the lot and the remaining portions are surrounded by locally quarried stone blocks. When visiting the spot get out of your car and take a stroll out onto the rise to the west of the lot. Many paths lead there as it provides a completely unobstructed view of the vista
