St. Paul is known as the "Apostle to the Gentiles". He begins by persecuting the new Christians and then has an encounter with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus that temporarily blinds him but transforms him forever. Fourteen of the epistles in the New Testament were written by St. Paul and he preached the Gospel from Jerusalem to Rome. It was in Rome that St. Paul's earthly life ended when he was beheaded.
This statue was placed in memory of Joseph and Elizabeth Dedominico and Victor and Corrine Lindauer.
