Scaleburgers, a very small burger joint in Elbe, Washington is open on a seasonal basis. This is due to its remote location. It is close to the intersection that leades from Tacoma to either Mt Rainier Natl Park or Morton, to the south. The hours and days they are open are not posted on the outside of the building. There is no room inside for a dining area. They take only walk-up customers. There are, however, 7+ picnic tables around to sit and eat at.
The building Scaleburgers is in used to be a scale shack. Hence, the name. The name used to be Scale Shack Burgers.
