The listed coordinates are for the Confederation Building in St. John's, Newfoundland.
The featured location is
Logy Bay, a traditional fishing town with a population of approximately 2,000. Logy Bay was first settled in 1818 as a fishing outpost. Logy Bay received brief fame in the 1850's because of a spring with "curative" minerals in greater concentration than that of the
King's Bath in Bath, England, but the venture failed quickly. Today, the town boasts an Ocean Sciences Centre which provides a
webcam for you to view the bay.
