Clint Eastwood appears multiple times in the exercise yard of Alcatraz Prison during "Escape from Alcatraz". Clint plays Frank Morris, a convicted bank robber, who plans and executes an apparently successful escape from the island prison.
In one scene, Clint is seen pumping iron in the exercise yard, while plotting with his cohorts. In the background, outside the walls of the exercise yard, can be seen the base of the Alcatraz water tower, a chimney/smokestack and in the other corner a guard lookout tower. Today one can still see the water tower and chimney, but no guard tower is visible from this viewpoint.
In another scene at the exercise yard, looking in the opposite direction, Clint is seen sitting on some steps talking with fellow inmates. Today that scene looks pretty much the same
