The Montour trail is a crushed limestone trail in suburbian region of Greater Pittsburgh used for walking, bicycling, and skating where it is paved. Several access points exist, with ample parking and restroom facilities. Maintained by volunteers with financial donations by local businesses.
This terminus is less used than other parts of the trail due to the shortness of length of contiguous trail. One would have to ride a bike on roads shared with motorized vehicular traffic to recconect to the continuation of the trail.
