Visitors Center has a nice contemporary, ocean feel to it, being fairly new. It has many interesting exhibits. When we visited, there was a bird's nest situated on top of a lamp just outside the main door of the visitors center. Every time an adult bird would swoop in, the birds would go nuts, then clam up as soon as one of them would leave, letting you count the four small heads in the nest.

The visitors center is built overlooking the beach allowing visitors easy access to the beach for walks.
