The search for the Holy Grail takes Indy to Venice, where he finds a clue in the Library of San Barnaba at Campo San Barnaba in the laidback Dorsoduro district. But in the reality Library is Neoclassical Church of San Barnaba. If you want to see the real interior, the 1749 church is open daily from 7.30 am to noon and 4.30 pm to 7 pm. Incidentally, Campo San Barnaba is the spot where Katherine Hepburn fell into the canal in David Lean's Summer Madness. As Steven Spielberg is such a Lean fan, this hardly seems to be coincidence...
