A statue of Ashurbanipal , the king of of the Neo-Assyrian Empire. The statue sits in front of what's now the Asian Art Museum. It's across the street from the Pioneers Monument. On the base the royal's name is written in Assyrian and Aramaic.
From the inventory: "Larger-than-life full length male figure standing on a plinth decorated with a lotus-blossom design. The figure wears a short tunic and holds a lion cub in his proper right arm. He has long hair and a braided beard. Figure stands on a concrete base, with bronze plaque and rosettes."
